Characteristics of Silk Screen Stickers
Durability
Cause screen printing with thickness ink and our company use Seiko Advance ink for outdoor sticker printing to ensuring that our car stickers exhibit a minimum durability of 3-5 years.
Vibrancy
Screen printing is a printing process that utilizes the basic principle that the mesh in the image and text parts of the screen printing plate can pass through ink, while the mesh in the non image and text parts cannot pass through ink. During printing, ink is poured into one end of the screen printing plate, and a scraper is used to apply a certain amount of pressure to the ink area on the screen printing plate. At the same time, the ink moves uniformly towards the other end of the screen printing plate. During the movement, the scraper compresses the ink from the mesh holes in the image and text parts onto the substrate.
So the maximum density range of screen printing can reach 2.0, and the thickness can reach about 30 microns, the stickers printed in this way are rich in quality, strong in stereoscopic sense, and bright in color.
Materials
Screen printing is a versatile technique capable of printing on both rigid and flexible materials. It is not constrained by the texture of the substrate, making it well-suited for a wide range of outdoor and vehicle decal materials, including PVC, PET, PP, reflective materials, PC, metals, and more, with thickness ranging from 0.05 to 2mm.
Weather UV Resistant and waterproof
Due to the characteristic of screen printing leakage, it can use various inks and coatings. It can not only use pastes, adhesives, and various pigments, but also use coarser particle pigments. In addition, the screen printing ink is easy to mix, and the light resistant pigment is directly put into the ink to mix, which is another major feature of screen printing. At the same time, because the maximum density range of screen printing can reach 2.0, and the thickness can reach about 30 microns, the stickers printed in this way are rich in quality, strong in stereoscopic sense, and bright in color. Because the ink contains a combination of light resistant pigments and printing thickness, which makes it particularly strong in UV resistance, waterproofing, and weather resistance, it is the best choice for outdoor stickers and car stickers.

About CMYK Sticker Printing
Within CMYK Sticker Printing, the process centers on utilizing process colors – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black – to craft an expansive array of shades. By artfully combining these primary colors, we generate an astonishing spectrum of hues. Picture, for instance, a vibrant shade of orange coming to life as minuscule dots of magenta ink interlace with underlying yellow ink. It’s a meticulous dance of colors that births thousands of possibilities.
However, it’s important to note that the nature of CMYK printing can introduce slight streaks and dots, a phenomenon known as dithering. This occurrence is a fundamental characteristic of the CMYK process. Under most circumstances, these dot patterns remain inconspicuous to the naked eye. Yet, their visibility may differ based on the specific colors used. Light shades incorporating minute proportions of all four process colors can prove especially challenging to balance. It’s prudent to take this into account during the sticker design phase.
As a general guideline, CMYK values lower than 10% can become indistinct on the screen. It’s advisable to maintain these values at either 0 or 10. Rest assured, we do offer the option of Pantone printing runs. However, it’s important to acknowledge that associated costs can be noticeably higher, as customers are responsible for expenses related to film, screen, and setup. Depending on the quantity of your order, this approach may entail increased expenses. Nevertheless, it stands as the optimal choice when pursuing flawless color reproduction that maintains unwavering consistency throughout your stickers. This tailored approach is particularly well-suited for projects that demand precision in color fidelity and a significant, uniform expanse of color coverage.
